Erie Shores HealthCare will be looking for a new Chief of Professional Staff after Dr. Ross Moncur announced he has chosen to refocus on his primary care practice and will be “retiring” from his administrative position at Erie Shores HealthCare.
As Chief of Professional Staff and Interim CEO, Dr. Moncur guided ESHC through some difficult pandemic times while also making substantial contributions to the adoption of CERNER and quality and process improvement.
The Board of Directors has established a sub-committee that is entrusted with actively seeking the hospital’s next professional staff leader. A replacement is expected to be announced in the first half of 2022.
Dr. Moncur will continue in his current position while the recruitment process is underway.
