“Mask Non-Compliant” Passenger Escorted By Police After Landing In Windsor, Transport Canada Report Says

Transport Canada has released information about a disruptive passenger incident that took place on a flight bound for Windsor back in July.
In an incident detailed in Transport Canada’s Aviation Incident Reporting system and released Friday, they say a passenger was escorted from Windsor Airport by police.
The incident took place on July 17th, 2021 around 4:45pm, the report says.
The report says a passenger on a WestJet Boeing 737 from Calgary, Alberta to Windsor was “mask non-compliant” and “verbally abusive to the crew.”
According to the report, the captain of the aircraft requested Windsor Police meet the plan upon its arrival.
The plane landed safely in Windsor and the report says police escorted the passenger out of the airport and into a taxi cab.
