Leamington Looking For Young Leaders To Join The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee

Leamington is looking for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 to join the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee. The committee provides Leamington youth with a voice and an opportunity to have a positive impact on the community through support for issues, causes and organizations they are passionate about.
“It’s important that young people in Leamington are fully engaged when it comes to issues that impact the kind of future they want for themselves and their community,” said Mayor Hilda MacDonald. “The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee is a platform for youth and allows Council to communicate, consult, and get feedback on issues important to the young leaders of today.”
MYAC meets monthly on Mondays, as scheduled, throughout the school year.
Applications can be submitted electronically at www.leamington.ca/MYAC.
Applications will also be accepted by mail to: Municipality of Leamington, 111 Erie Street North, Leamington, ON N8H 2Z9, Attention: Clerk’s Department or by email to [email protected] no later than Monday, August 23rd, 2021.
