OPP Searching Lake St. Clair In Lakeshore For Missing Boater

OPP are looking for a missing boater on Lake St. Clair.
Police say that around 3:30 pm Sunday, they were called to an address on Lakeshore Park Road. They were told that a 58-year-old male went out into Lake St. Clair to go fishing at approximately 8:00 am in a small vessel off the shoreline near Stoney Point. A kayaker later came across a small vessel on a sandbar, they noticed the vessel was unoccupied, and they contacted police.
The Essex County OPP Marine Unit, Chatham-Kent OPP Marine Unit, Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre are currently searching the area. An aerial search of the area is also underway.
The missing boater is described as 5’10, 240 lbs. with a medium build, green eyes, short grey hair, goatee, and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue two-tone tank top and light blue shorts.
