The Hospice of Windsor & Essex County is looking to send love across the community with the launch of a new campaign.
At a time when we have to stay apart, Hospice wants to help Send Love by way of a personalized message and magnet sent in the mail – like a COVID-safe candygram!
This simple concept mirrors an age-old tradition of sending a small item and a personal note to a friend, colleague, or classmate. With many members of our community working from home, taking part in virtual learning, or isolated from loved ones, this is a wonderful way to share a simple message: even from a distance, someone is thinking of you.
For those who are interested in Sending Love, the process is easy:
- Select someone you have been thinking about or haven’t been able to see lately.
- Visit www.TheHospice.ca or call 519-974-7100 to make your $20 donation (this helps cover the cost of the item and shipping, plus supports Hospice along the way).
- Enter your recipient’s name, address and your special message,
- Let Hospice do the rest, mailing the package on your behalf.
The Hospice Sending Love Campaign runs until February 28th 2021, or until supplies last. Donations receive a tax receipt. Delivery available in Canada only.
