Leamington is looking for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 who want to make a difference in the community.
The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee provides Leamington youth with a voice and an opportunity to have a positive impact on the community through support for issues, causes and organizations they are passionate about.
“It’s important that young people in Leamington are fully engaged when it comes to issues that impact the kind of future they want for themselves and their community,” said Mayor Hilda MacDonald. “The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee is a platform for youth and allows Council to communicate, consult, and get feedback on issues important to the young leaders of today.”
The committee meets monthly on Mondays each month, as scheduled, throughout the school year.
Applications can be submitted electronically at www.leamington.ca/MYAC.
