The Ontario Ministry of Transportation is looking for feedback on the proposed widening of Highway 3.
The Ministry’s preferred plan includes widening of Highway 3 from 2 lanes to 4 lanes with a grassed median separation along with the realignment of Division Road (County Road 29)/South Talbot Road.
The Ministry is also proposing adding traffic signals at Belle River Road (County Road 27), Division Road (County Road 29), County Road 34 (Union Avenue), and County Road 18.
Due to low traffic volumes and collision concerns, the province’s plan also includes the closure of the Highway 3 intersections at Graham Side Road, Upcott Side Road, Inman Side Road, Marsh Road (Concession Road 8) and Cameron Side Road (Concession Road 9).
