When Rorrie came to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society she was pregnant and terrified of everyone and everything. She was immediately placed into a foster home where she felt she was safe and delivered healthy, happy puppies. Once her puppies were grown and gone her original foster family couldn’t keep her anymore, she we was transferred into a new foster home where she has made incredible improvements. She is no longer terrified of everything, she trusts her foster mom and loves to go for long walks and “help” her mom with chores around the house. She has discovered a love for toys and playing in the yard. Rorrie still has a long road a head of her and she may never be trusting of everyone she meets, but in her foster home Rorrie has learned that people can be good and that she is loved.
Fostering changes lives. The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is currently closed to adoptions, but Rorrie will be available for adoption when it is safe to reopen.
