Art Gallery Of Windsor’s Executive Director Set To Move On

Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Windsor Dr. Catharine Mastin is moving onto a new chapter after nearly a decade at the gallery. She will complete her tenure at the Gallery on March 31st, 2020.
She has been only the 6th Executive Director in the last 75 years of the gallery.
Dr. Mastin says she plans to focus on in-depth research, coupled with her sought-after writing and publishing of best-in-class arts publications.
Earlier this year, the AGW Board embarked on strategic planning process, to develop the new 5-year Strategic Plan (2020-2025). It will be spearheaded by an interim-director, who will work closely with the Board and arts consultant Martin van Zon, to engage the entire Windsor-Essex community to push forward on AGW’s future as one of the leading Art Galleries in Canada.
An event to recognize Dr. Mastin and all of her accomplishments will take place later this year.
