Planet Fitness Coming To Windsor

Planet Fitness is opening up at 4330 Walker Road next year on January 31st. This will be the first Planet Fitness club in Windsor.

Planet Fitness prides itself on offering extremely affordable memberships and a unique Judgement Free Zone, where members experience a hassle-free, non-intimidating environment. Each club also features the brand’s iconic “Lunk Alarm” – a purple and yellow siren on the wall used to gently remind people that grunting, dropping weights or judging others is not permitted.

“We look forward to providing Windsor residents with a high-quality fitness experience that’s comfortable and non-intimidating for first-time gym members,” said Planet Fitness franchisee Chris Klebba. “The warm welcome we’ve received in our other locations across Canada makes us excited to address a similar unmet need for the community of Windsor.”

The new Windsor Planet Fitness location is 21,000 sq. feet and will offer brand new cardio machines, new fully-equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, many full-size flat screen televisions, a 30-minute express circuit, two HydroMassage beds, two hydro lounges, two stand up tanning beds, two lay down tanning bed and one Total Body Enhancement booth. The club will be open and staffed 24 hours, seven days a week.

Planet Fitness is accepting memberships during their online-only cyber sale for just $1 down. Beginning November 29th, Windsor residents can sign-up for memberships on site at the presale office located in the same complex that the club is in. Members can join for just $1 down and then as little as $10 a month.
