Lakeshore is holding a stormwater master plan open house on November 27th.
The purpose of this Open House is to provide information from Phase 1 of the Stormwater Master Plan study that the Town began in January 2018. The Town is looking to solicit input and feedback from residents on the preliminary results of the study.
Lakeshore Administration and representatives from the consulting firm will be on site to explain the results of the study and educate the public on the proposed solutions to protect private properties from basement flooding and minimize surface ponding on public lands.
Lakeshore Council continues to support floodwater defense through education and subsidies for residents to protect their properties. Council has waived the fee for camera inspection of private property infrastructure effective immediately. Contact Town Hall at 519-728-2488 to schedule an inspection. Inspections have helped numerous residents to identify areas of improvement to protect their property.
The open house takes place from 4pm to 7pm at the Atlas Tube Centre Lobby.
