One person was sent to hospital after an early mining fire on Church Street.
It broke out around 5am in the upper unit of a duplex in the 1500 block.
One female resident transported to hospital and has since been taken to a Detroit hospital in critical condition.
The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called into investigate.
