The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch.
They say that with winds predicted to be 30 to 50 kph over the next 24 hour period out of the north to northwest, with gusts between 60-90 kph, a possibility of flooding, shoreline erosion, and damaging waves exists along the Lake St. Clair shoreline including the Town of Tecumseh and the Town of Lakeshore and along the Lake Erie shoreline on the north and northwest sides of Pelee Island.
