Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex dedicated their 61st build in the 22 year history of the organization on Saturday.
“This build has been a busy and exiting time for the community” says Pamela Breault, Operations Manager, HFHWE. “A safe home provides not only the opportunity for a family, but also builds the overall sense of community, and how we each treat one another,” Breault added. With the help of Title Sponsors, The O’Neil Foundation and Reaume Chevrolet; Corporate Sponsors; and volunteers, this project means a new beginning for a family.
The Fast Family is excited to move into their brand new, 1,080 square foot brick and vinyl raised ranch. “We are pleased to assist the Fast family into a safe home in a safe neighbourhood. We are happy to know that this will be the last move for the Fast Family who, through no fault of their own, found themselves without a home and living with extended family” states Mike Van der Vlist, Executive Director, HFHWE. “It marks a great day for the Fast Family, as well as the community of Leamington – Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is ecstatic to be building in Leamington again”.
