Have you wanted to see how the new border crossing is shaping up? Now is your chance to tour the Canadian Port of Entry component of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.
Over the past year, the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority has been reshaping the lands of the Canadian Port of Entry to help prepare for the construction of the roads, buildings and the Gordie Howe International Bridge.
Join representatives from WDBA to walk the construction site and see the changes first-hand while learning about the activities to date and next steps.
This free event is suitable for all family members with fun activities available for children.
The walkabout takes place on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 from 9:30am to 12:30pm with walking tours scheduled for 10am and 11:30am. You can enter the site from Sandwich and Broadway Streets.
Limited parking is available, and because the site is a construction zone and the terrain may present mobility challenges for some visitors.
