The Town of LaSalle has launched of the “Living LaSalle” campaign that highlights the growing community, amenities and opportunities available.
The main focus, however, is on the personality of LaSalle and the people who play a critical role in it, making it one of the fastest growing – and safest – towns in Southern Ontario.
To celebrate 25 years, 25 community members are featured in the campaign, which launched on October 25th at the LaSalle Council meeting. Coined “Living LaSalle”, the campaign shines a spotlight on individuals who are making an impact in the community, in the business world, and across arts, culture, athletics and more. From volunteers to well-known figures like 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist, Kylie Masse, people from all walks of life will reflect on how they are “Living LaSalle”.
“It’s truly a testament to the people who live here, do business here, or who grew up here and went on to do great things locally, nationally even internationally. We are so passionate about our community, so giving a spotlight to a few, and trust me it wasn’t easy to narrow it down to only 25 people, felt like the right thing to do,” said Mayor Ken Antaya at Tuesday night’s LaSalle Council meeting.
The Town enlisted Douglas Marketing Group to develop the campaign.
The Town of LaSalle will also leverage Douglas Marketing Group’s propriety software, which will allow staff to access and maintain marketing and communication tools from anywhere in the world. “We’re creating consistent and progressive communications that will help take us to the next level. By properly showcasing municipal assets, we can maximize our strengths and position ourselves globally. The use of innovative technology will help us achieve that,” said Antaya.
The campaign will run over the course of the next 9 weeks on social media. Follow the Town of LaSalle on Facebook and Twitter to see all 25 profiles revealed.
