Environment Canada is warning of heavy rainfall this Tuesday.
Meteorologists say a slow-moving low pressure system over eastern Texas is forecast to drift northwards over the next couple of days reaching the lower Great Lakes on Tuesday.
They say the system will bring tropical moisture and may bring upon the most significant widespread rainfall in many months.
Amounts are expected to range from 25 to 40 mm in most places.
Forecasters say there may be higher amounts exceeding 60 mm in some areas.
