On the Campus of the University of Windsor, construction on the new Centre for Engineering Innovation on the site that was home to the former Prince of Wales grade school, is moving along fast.
First, take a look back when we first took a visit to the site one year ago on May 18th 2010.
Today, construction is almost complete on phase one, which will welcome students this fall, and the entire new facility will be open in the fall of 2012.
The new facility will be 300,000-sq. ft. and will cost an estimated at $112 million to build with 40 million each coming from the Government of Canada’s Knowledge Infrastructure Program and through the Ontario Government’s 2009 budget.
The University of Windsor has a live webcam showing the construction site here.
