The City of Windsor says that the main roads have been kept clear all afternoon long.
They say that road crews got ahead of Monday’s freezing rain laying a brine solution on major routes to keep wet conditions from becoming icy conditions.
Salter’s then spent the day topping up area roads as further prevention and late Monday evening plows took to the streets to begin moving the built up slush to curb side.
As a result, they say that roads are in decent condition and should be good for the Tuesday morning commute, as the temperature is expected to remain above freezing.
