Two new books on the history of Walkerville will be launched at a special event this Wednesday.
Join authors Elaine Weeks and Chris Edwards for the launch of their book Walkerville – Whisky Town Extraordinaire and author David Guay for the launch of his new book Hiram Walker’s Railroad – The Lake Eries & Detroit River Railway at special evening at the historic St. Mary’s Church in Olde Walkerville.
David Guay will be signing copies of his new book which will be available for $25. He will also have a display of train memorabilia.
Authors Elaine Weeks & Chris Edwards will be signing their softcover and hardcover collector editions of their comprehensive new book for $40 and $60.
Walkerville Publishing’s popular history trio: Windsor Then, A Forgotten City and 500 Ways You Know You’re From Windsor will also be available and copies will be signed by authors Chris & Elaine.
In addiction, Elaine will be signing copies of the updated edition of her novel: Time Trespasser – A Master. His Slaves. A Crack in Time, available for $14.95.
You are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for St. Mary’s food cupboard. Free church tours will also be offered.
