Continuing its fundraising, The Breast Ride Ever has got a brand new bag.
On Saturday, April 23, cofounders Nikki Krieger-Campeau and Ann Campeau will be “Bagging For Boobs” at Zehrs Real Canadian Super Store on Lauzon Pkwy. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Handling groceries, they’ll also be asking shoppers for help.
“The Breast Ride Ever will be selling tickets at Zehrs for Buckets For Boobs,” said Krieger-Campeau. “$10 gets you a bucket of balls and also enters you into a draw on Saturday, May 7 at Hydeaway Golf.”
Buckets For Boobs Prizes include a $1,500 Hideaway Golf Club membership and weekend motorcycle course at St. Clair College. A live auction and entertainment will be on hand at the May event, along with BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers for sale.
In addition to these tickets, information will also be available regarding the 2nd annual Breast Ride Ever, a county-wide motorcycle poker run. People will be able to sign up for the July 9th event (which also includes a BBQ and concert) or make a donation to The fundraiser – all money raised goes to Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation and The Hospice Of Windsor & Essex County.
Last year’s ride, organized in memory of Krieger-Campeau and Campeau’s parents who died of cancer, raised $10,000. Cash was donated to the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre which used it to fund their Seeds4Hope cancer research project and help purchase a Faxitron Xray machine.
