Essex Launching Summer Concert Series

Summer just got a lot more musical in the Town of Essex.
A new Summer Concert Series will see local musicians and musical groups perform in a series of up to 20 public concerts that will take place at two outdoor locations. Mondays at Jackson Park in Colchester Centre and Wednesdays at Heritage Gardens in Essex Centre.
“The Essex Summer Concert Series has been developed to showcase the many amazingly talented and diverse musical performers in our community,” says Chris Gelinas, Chair of the ACT Committee.
“It’s a free concert series, but performers may pass the hat to raise funds for their operations, which can range from large bands and group ensembles to instrumental and vocal solo acts.”
Concerts start June 15th, and run until August 26th, with the exception of no concerts the week of June 29th.
Concerts begin at 7:30pm and are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Be sure to bring your own chair or blanket.
