The Job Shoppe’s CEO and local business leader Meighen Nehme has been named the #18 top female entrepreneur in Canada, according to rankings released Wednesday by PROFIT magazine and Chatelaine.
Nehme was featured in the W100 ranking that rates female entrepreneurs based on the size, growth rate and profitability of the businesses they own and run.
“You need a bold vision, an innovative strategy and loads of tenacity to earn a spot on the W100,” said James Cowan of PROFIT and Canadian Business magazines.
Nehme founded The Job Shoppe to provide human resources and recruitment solutions and expertise to “help companies position for growth, execute on strategy, and improve business agility.”
“I am deeply honoured to be recognized alongside so many other inspirational female entrepreneurs,” said Nehme. “I am incredibly proud of our team here at The Job Shoppe and all we have accomplished as we continue to strive to inspire women in our community.”
