Windsor’s Community Museum is hosting a new exhibit this month commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the start of World War I.
The exhibit, entitled “Windsor at War 1914-1918” is mounted in display cases outside the museum and chronicles Windsor’s involvement and contributions during the Great War.
Through newspaper articles, posters, and photographs from the museum’s collection, the exhibit offers the community a glimpse of how Windsor was involved not only overseas but at home with fundraising efforts through the Red Cross, YMCA, Boy Scouts and many others.
