Seattle Seahawks tight end Luke Willson will be making an appearance at the Tecumseh Mall Mark’s Work Wearhouse in support of the Canadian Tire JumpStart program, this Sunday.

Lucky fans will have the chance to share a moment with Willson, hear about his NFL experience and see his Super Bowl Championship ring. With a minimum donation of $5.00 to JumpStart, fans can also receive Willson’s autograph (limit of one item per person) and pose for photos.

Having grown up playing football, baseball and hockey in LaSalle, Willson is well aware of the importance of sports in the development of kids’ confidence, leadership and creativity. The NFL star is excited to support the JumpStart fundraiser – all funds raised at Mark’s Work Wearhouse’s event at Tecumseh Mall will remain in the Windsor-Essex community.

One in three Canadian families cannot afford to enrol their kids in organized sports and physical activity (Vision Critical, 2011) which means many kids are missing out on the benefits that come with organized play. With your support, JumpStart removes financial barriers, providing hundreds of local children the opportunity to participate in extracurricular sports.

The meet and greet event will take place on Sunday, July 6th between 2pm – 4pm inside the store.
