Cousineau Road at Highway 3 is now open to traffic following more than a year being closed.
Cousineau closed for a planned one year closure on November 25th 2012 while a bridge was constructed for the road over the new HG Parkway.
The closure affected access to Windsor Crossing and cut off bus service to the outlet mall when Transit Windsor was forced to change its route.
Transit Windsor will be resuming service along Cousineau for their Dominion 5 and Dougall 6 routes starting on Monday, April 21st. Transit officials say buses will no longer provide service to Windsor Crossing. If passengers wish to go to Windsor Crossing, they may take the Dougall 6 and disembark at Cousineau and Highway 3.
This is the second tunnel top over the Parkway to open to traffic recently. Work continues in the tunnel.
