Sinkhole Closes University Avenue West

The intersection of University Avenue West and Church Street as well as a one-block radius in each direction will remain closed due to a sinkhole, which formed around 5:00pm Monday.
Work crews are on scene this morning to begin repairs that could include some excavating, which will keep the University and Church intersection closed in all directions.
It will remain closed until at least 5:00pmon Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.
