Karel DeGraaf has been appointed permanent Deputy Chief of Operational Support for Windsor Police.
DeGraaf has been a member of the Windsor Police Service for over 28 years. Throughout his career, he has served our community in various areas, including investigations, investigative support, property crimes, the Emergency Services Unit, and the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad (ROPE).
Since being named Acting Deputy Chief of Operational Support in October 2023, he has overseen a number of critical operations and projects within our Service.
His appointment took effect on March 22nd, 2024.
