Some residents have been able to return to their homes after a fire at their apartment building at 333 Glengarry Avenue on Wednesday.
City officials say that the majority of residents from floors 1 through 5 will be allowed to return home. However, some apartments still require further remediation.
There is still no hot water throughout the building at this time.
Residents on floors 6, 7, and 8 cannot return home until further notice.
Residents are advised to contact CHC for further details at 519-973-4469 to determine if their apartment unit is still affected.
Residents who cannot return to their units will continue to receive support at the temporary emergency shelter at the WFCU Centre at 8787 McHugh Street, which is operated by the City of Windsor with support from the Red Cross.
