Prom Dresses Needed
New Beginning’s 17th annual Say Yes to the Prom Dress event is fast approaching, and donations are needed.
Since its inception, Say Yes to the Prom Dress has helped thousands of youth find the outfit of their dreams in celebration of formal events like prom and graduation, eliminating several barriers that students may face, such as financial, access, availability, stigma, inclusivity, and environmental impact.
But they couldn’t do this without the community’s support, which is why they are asking you to help make dreams come true by donating new or gently used formal attire.
Prom Dresses, Semi-Formal Dresses, Graduation Dresses Suits and Formal shoes and accessories can be dropped off at New Beginnings at 1049 Janette Avenue or 1015 Highland Avenue between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Donations will be accepted until Friday, March 1st, 2024
This year, for the first time, they are offering two days for youth to come and browse the vast selection of formal, prom, and graduation dresses, suits, and accessories, ranging in sizes from 0-26.
Say Yes to the Prom Dress will take place at New Beginnings, 1015 Highland Ave. Windsor, on Saturday, March 9th, and Monday, March 11th, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
