Chungchun Rice Dog, a large Korean chain specializing in Korean-style hotdogs, held the grand opening for their first store open in Windsor on Friday.
Chungchun has over 200 locations across the world from Korea to the United Stated to Canada and beyond. The specialty food items are made from a flour made from glutinous rice, leading to a soft and chewy texture with hotdog or cheesy fillings.
The Korean-style hotdogs are made fresh to order, with multiple options being available from add-ons to the crust to sauces for the finalized product. Select drinks, side dishes, and fried chicken are also available at Windsor’s first Chungchun location.
