Windsor firefighters have extinguished a blaze in Windsor’s west end.

Crews were called to the 3200 block of Russell Street just before 11:00pm Friday, where they found smoke and fire in a house.

Firefighters had the blaze under control within minutes and began the process to remove smoke from the building.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services says all occupants were reported to be out of the structure, and ten people have been displaced.

Damages are estimated at around $250,000. The fire originated in and was contained in a main floor bedroom, but the cause is undetermined, with no viable ignition sources found.
