Lakeshore Seeking Community Feedback On Fire Master Plan

The Municipality of Lakeshore is looking for community feedback as part of the creation of a Lakeshore Fire Department Master Plan.

Lakeshore is working with Emergency Management Group to create the 10-year plan, which will guide operational improvements and enhance how services are provided throughout the municipality’s communities.

“Lakeshore Fire has an incredibly dedicated team of volunteers firefighters and a long history of protecting our communities, responding to emergencies, and educating residents on the importance of fire safety and emergency preparedness,” said Truper McBride, Chief Administrative Officer. “The master planning process will help create a roadmap for how the department will evolve and adapt over the next decade.”

The survey asks for feedback on impressions of the department and the educational programs and core services it provides.

Respondents who require assistance filling out the survey can call the Public Service Unit at 519-728-2700 ext. 0 during regular business hours (8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday).

Submissions will be accepted until Friday, February 24th, at 4:30pm.
