Three Virtual Town Halls Being Held For Consumption And Treatment Service Site

Businesses, residents, and agencies are invited to have their say ahead of the opening of the Consumption and Treatment Services Site located at 101 Wyandotte Street East.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit and the CTS Stakeholder Advisory Committee, will be hosting a series of virtual town hall meetings for businesses, residents, and agencies located in the City of Windsor’s downtown core.

There are three virtual town halls taking place from Tuesday, January 24th to Thursday, January 26th. Each virtual town hall will include a presentation about the upcoming launch detailing the operations of the site, how safety and security concerns will be addressed, and how to report future concerns or incidents once the site is open.

Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer period with a panel of expert speakers, including an addictions physician and representatives from the following agencies:

  • Windsor-Essex County Health Unit
  • Windsor-Essex Community Health Centre
  • Windsor Police Service
  • Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare
  • Pozitive Pathways Community Services
  • Family Services Windsor-Essex
