A second fire hall in LaSalle is set to move forward. The new fire hall will be located on Front Road, on land previously home to the former Centennial Arena.

The single-story building will include two bays for the required emergency vehicles, with the possibility of adding a third bay should that be deemed necessary. The building is also being designed with the potential for expansion should the growth needs of the municipality warrant a larger facility.

There is an existing Communications Tower at the southwestern corner of the property. The tower is slated to remain in place with an agreement between the municipality and the communications company to lease the land for the operation.

Town council will be asked for their approval for the land use and to remove the Holding Zone on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023. If approved, construction will take place later this year.
