The Greater Essex County District School Board is preparing to conduct its first Student Census this April.

This survey is part of the GECDSB’s ongoing Equity Action Plan and is mandated by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

Broad community consultation is being undertaken with groups and organizations in the community to finalize the list of questions that will be posed to students. The results will help board officials understand the unique experiences of our student population to reduce inequities and better serve their varied needs.

Parents/Guardians of students in Grades JK-5 will complete the survey for their child at home, while students in Grades 6-12 will complete the survey at school.
