What was originally created as a skate-a-thon by the tournament founder Tim Beaulieu, Hockey for Hospice has since grown and changed to grow to such a scale that this year, there are over 125 teams with 227 games being played this year at 4 arenas across the area: Libro Credit Union Centre, Essex Centre Sports Complex, Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex, and Tecumseh Arena.

Funds raised from the last 25 years of Hockey for Hospice has surpassed $4.1 million, with players collecting pledges and awareness for The Hospice. Learn more about this year’s tournament and find more information such as the schedule on their website here. Photographed is the Tecumseh Arena.
