NOW OPEN: Popeyes In Downtown Windsor

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has opened in Downtown Windsor.

Work began in September to convert the closed Burger King into a Popeyes. The Burger King had closed in January of this year.

Mashhood Shabbir of Toronto Construction Management Inc. says constructed wrapped up earlier this week.

This is Windsor’s third Popeyes location. A fourth restaurant is planned for the former Country Style donuts location on Tecumseh Road East.

The new downtown Popeyes is located at the corner of Goyeau Street and University Avenue East.
