Catch Christmas in Tecumseh And The Santa Claus Parade Friday

Santa Claus is coming to Tecumseh on Friday with the annual Christmas in Tecumseh celebration and parade.

“I’m looking forward to the 2022 Christmas in Tecumseh events, and I hope to see the community come out and celebrate,” said Mayor Gary McNamara. “We have such an amazing lineup of activities for kids and adults of all ages – from meeting Santa Claus to a public skate while listening to some holiday tunes!”

This year’s Santa Parade will begin shortly after 6:00pm and will begin at the corner of Lacasse Blvd and Clapp Street before traveling southbound along Lacasse Blvd to Tecumseh Road, continuing westbound on Tecumseh Road to Lesperance Road, and will make a final turn northbound travelling on Lesperance Road to Tecumseh Town Hall. 

In addition to the parade, several free activities are scheduled throughout the evening, including:

• Meet & Greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus
• Musical Tractor Hayrides
• Outdoor Movie: Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas (1999)
• Fire Department Open House
• Outdoor Marshmallow Roast
• Putt Putt Golf
• Holiday Arts & Crafts
• Public Skating
