The City of Windsor is still looking for volunteers for this Sunday’s Open Streets Windsor.
They say pulling off an event like Open Streets is only possible with lots of volunteer help:
Why volunteer for Open Streets?

- Enhance your resume with a truly unique example of volunteer experience.
What do volunteers do?
The primary role of volunteers is to:
- Maintain safety of route for participants.
- Greet participants as they enter the route.
- Assist with entrance/exit of authorized vehicles.
- Direct unauthorized traffic to alternate routes.
- Safely remove the barricade after the Windsor police cruiser has swept your location at the end of the event.
Those who are interested in volunteering are invited to show up at Senator Croll Park (corner of University and Goyeau) on Sunday, September 18th anytime between 8am – 2pm.
