Kimmy Lucier Playground Trail Improvements Begin

The City of Windsor Parks Department is set to begin work on trail improvements for the Kimmy Lucier Playground at Mic Mac Park.
The work will include the widening and resurfacing of approximately 300 meters of asphalt pathway and will result in the closure of the trail for one month plus an additional two weeks for restoration and finalizing.
The playground, shelter and picnic areas in the park will be closed during daytime construction but will reopen after work is done each day and on weekends. The baseball facilities in the park will not be impacted by the trail construction.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of October 2022.
