Bird Canada’s fleet of e-scooters and e-bikes are now available on the University of Windsor campus.
“There’s growing interest from young Canadians to use green transportation such as e-scooters and e-bikes, which highlights the demand for affordable, efficient and zero-emission options,” says Bird Canada CEO, Stewart Lyons. “We’re proud that we are one of the preferred choices for students when it comes to a sustainable and active transport, and are honoured to be a trusted partner for the University of Windsor.”
Bird Canada has exclusive discounted passes for all students where the company operates, on and off campus. This program allows students to enjoy savings on all unlock fees, as well as access to priority customer support. Students can pre-purchase 10, 25 or 40 unlocks through the Bird app, with discounts of up to 57%.
Throughout September, Bird Canada will host dedicated safety events on campus to educate on how to ride, specific campus rules and safe riding and parking behaviour. Free helmets will be given to those who attend.
