Firehouse Subs has opened its second location in Windsor at 1726 Huron Church Road.
Firehouse Subs franchisee Javed Qadree, alongside his wife Helia, is pleased to open the doors to their third Firehouse Subs restaurant.
Qadree opened his first Firehouse Subs location in Sarnia in 2020, followed by his second location in Windsor in 2021. Prior to joining the brand, Qadree served as a police officer for seven years in his hometown of Mississauga and was drawn to Firehouse Subs because of the strong first responder connection combined with his passion of giving back to the community through public safety.
“There is such high demand for our hot and hearty subs, and we are thrilled to bring another location to the Windsor community,” said Qadree. “A big part of what makes our brand so impactful is the loyalty and generosity of our guests who continue to donate and support through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada.”
Founded by former firefighting brothers, the new restaurant décor reflects the founding family’s decades of fire and police service through photos and equipment donated by local fire departments. It boasts a custom, hand-painted mural by Chief Mural Artist Joe Puskas that features a firefighter from the Windsor Fire Department playing soccer with a local family in front of the University of Windsor, surrounded by beautiful foliage.
It is open from 10:30am to 10:00pm Monday through Saturday, and 10:30am to 9:00pm on Sundays.
