Downtown Windsor Hosting 8th Annual Arts Fair

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is hosting the 8th iteration of its Arts Fair, a component of Open Streets – and we’re looking for vendors on Sunday, September 18th.

Local artists, crafters, artisans and hobbyists interested in selling and displaying their wares are welcome to register for this beloved, family-friendly event. The Downtown Arts Fair will be located on University Avenue, between Victoria Avenue and Freedom Way, and on Ouellette Avenue, between Chatham and Park Streets.

The registration fee is $25, which is fully refunded on the day of the event when vendor sets up. All artistic merchandise is permitted, with the exception of food and drink.

Vendors must all offer some type of participatory activation as part of their vendor space, i.e. skills share – painting demo. All Activities must meet the following criteria:

•  Be free
• Focus on health, physical activity, arts or culture
• Be participatory
• Be feasible
• Be able to engage large audiences
• Be accessible for people of all ages and abilities
• Pop-up in nature – quickly and easily set up and taken down
• Self-contained – no need for a power supply etc.
• Not involve alcohol, horses or inflatables (e.g. bouncing castle)
