If you’re looking for a classic glazed donut or something more deluxe, Torus Doughnuts has got it — and it’s freshly handmade.

Co-owners, daughter-father duo, Jenna and Paul Gelinas have enjoyed their new establishment since its opening in late June.

“I went to school in St. Catherine’s and there was this doughnut shop there that I absolutely loved,” Jenna explains. “I always went there when celebrating.”

“Then when I came back to Windsor, I was supply teaching…and then the pandemic happened. With everything happening, all I wanted was a doughnut [from that store] and my dad said, ‘why don’t we make them?’ and then we did. They were really good, and at first we were selling them out of the house. Then we decided to go for it,” Jenna mentions as she looks around her new shop. “It’s been super busy and great! Everyone’s been loving them.”

Jenna and her father Paul both have math degrees, so it only made sense to name their venture Torus: the mathematical term for the shape of a donut. With the support of her family and brother Matt, they have been enjoying and look forward to what is to come with the store, one donut at a time.

The shop offers a variety of classic, signature and deluxe handmade, yeast raised doughnuts– made fresh every day. Flavours vary day to day, including vanilla glazed, banana chocolate chip fritter, peanut butter chocolate, maple dip, cosmic brownie, and much more.
