A donation by two long-time staples in the Windsor-Essex medical community will help put the region on the world stage when it comes to health care research.
Dr. Fouad Tayfour and Dr. Barry Emara have come forward with a $250,000 donation which will see the launch of the ‘Tayfour-Emara Research &; Education Fund’.
With a new acute care hospital just over the horizon, the fund will position Windsor-Essex as a leader in education, training and research for many years to come.
“Leadership in health care requires more than excellence in clinical care alone,” says Dr. Tayfour, “Our donation will provide essential funding to kick start research projects and support
the next generation of medical leaders. Windsor-Essex deserves to have first class specialists right here in our community.”
