Elizabeth Kishkon Park – 1415 Banwell Road

The City of Windsor is looking to add two new dog parks. One in Elizabeth Kishkon Park and another at Oakwood Park, and they want your input.

The City of Windsor Parks and Outdoor Recreation Master Plan called for more dog parks within the City. Based on the criteria and factors identified within the Dog Park Policy, Elisabeth Kishkon Park and Oakwood Park were identified as the highest-rated potential locations for new dog parks.

The City has earmarked $880,000 in the capital budget for new dog park development projects, and once feedback from public consultation can be factored in, the new dog parks could be ready for the summer of 2023.

Links to two surveys can be found on the Dog Park Developments here. The surveys will be open until Saturday, July 16th, 2022.

Oakwood Park – 2401 Pulford Street
