Local Hospital Mask Mandate To Remain In Place

With mask mandates in high-risk settings set to expire in Ontario on June 11th, local hospitals have announced they will keep the policy in place.

The Chief Medical Officer of Health had said that hospitals can continue policies when his order ends on June 11th.

“This also takes into consideration the higher risk environment in which WRH, ESHC and HDGH operate with many elderly and immune-compromised patients,” said a joint release from the three hospitals.
