John Fogerty is set to rock The Colosseum stage at Caesars Windsor, Friday, September 16th at 9pm.
Fogerty is one of the most influential songwriters and guitarists in rock history, known as the frontman and musical architect of Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as an incredibly successful solo artist. Over a 50-plus-year career, Fogerty has developed a distinct brand of rock and roll, pulling from rockabilly, country, and blues.
As part of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fogerty penned nine Top 10 singles between 1969 and 1972, including “Proud Mary.” The group secured eight gold albums, fueled by Fogerty’s simple, driving rock songs, his burly baritone, and poetic lyrics, as displayed on hit songs like “Bad Moon Rising,” “Fortunate Son” and “Born on the Bayou’.”
