ENWIN Utilities is dealing with water issues in South and Central Windsor that saw homeowners getting brown tap water Saturday.
Officials say that a fluctuation in water pressure in the distribution system at approximately 7:30am near the JF Cook Reservoir in South Windsor created the “disturbed water.”
They say that the water in these areas remains safe.
Crews have been in the areas affected this morning, flushing the affected water from the system.
If you are experiencing this condition, please run the water in the household until the water runs clear. This condition should last till early evening.
